Virgin Airways brings classy back to flying… in a 21st century way.

Virgin Galactic’s “Galactic Girl” is modeled after Sir Richard Branson’s mother in her younger days.

Boarding an airplane used to be of such grandeur,a classy way of transportation. When pilots were called aviators or captains & had unbeatable wages, flight attendants were known as air hostesses & were  prouder than ever to occupy such a distinguished position.

When overhead light units were an innovation & the newest sensation was the absence of vibration.

I’ve always had a soft spot for flying in airplanes. I absolutely love connecting flights, not only does it prolong the trip but also gives me time to visit a new airport.

Being in mid-air, sitting in complete calmness amidst the puffy clouds & still atmosphere brings me to complete peace with myself & the world.

& let’s not talk about the fact that your actually walking in air….

No mater what class you were boarding, you were dressed to the nines, nowadays my eyes cringe to the site of sweatpants & slippers.
