Furniture and briefcase collide with bicycle.

What would you say if your furniture was portable…

Well in Klaus Aalto’s “Finnish” world, not only is furniture designed with appeal but it’s generally intended for use, literally.

TAKE OUT

An idea born in 2003, with a traditional chest & drawers as briefcases on the go….

made of MDF board, aluminum shelves, steel legs and plastic.

Simplistic yet creative & a great alternative for a suitcase design.

Which ironically enough, the suitcase was designed by Montreal based designer Michel Dallaire, a project called Plasticase.

Michel Dallaire’s latest design is the PBS, The Public Bike System designed in 2008, known as Montreal’s bixi bikes.

A collision which in effect turns out to be a perfect marriage of practicality with aesthetics.
